I posted this back in April of 2013, and find it as relevant now as I did then. It’s a wonderful reminder of what is important to me and how I want to live my life.
I’m taking a break this week to do a few of the things listed below. I’ll be back next Monday with a guest post over at Memoir Writer’s Journey, about Finding Forgivenss While Writing Memoir.

“This is my living faith, an active faith, a faith of verbs: to question, explore, experiment, experience, walk, run, dance, play, eat, love, learn, dare, taste, touch, smell, listen, speak, write, read, draw, provoke, emote, scream, sin, repent, cry, kneel, pray, bow, rise, stand, look, laugh, cajole, create, confront, confound, walk back, walk forward, circle, hide, and seek.”
Beautiful! I wish I’d done it … and I wish I could live it completely!
Thanks so much, Mary. I’ve printed it out in large, bold type and is hanging from a place where I cannot miss it. It’s hard but it’s worth trying!
Such a wonderful reminder to stop and live in the moment, Joan. Good for you for taking a break. I’m thrilled to feature you as my gust on July 21!
Thanks, Kathy. I need daily reminders. It isn’t easy. And I’m thrilled to be your guest next Monday!!
