It
Is
Now
Officially
Winter
In the Norther Hemisphere,
Summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
Though there may be nasty weather days ahead,
The light has begun its slow return or retreat.
In just nine days, the New Year will be upon us,
And a new cycle of life will have begun.
In the spirit of these holidays we too often forget,
May the coming days be filled with the gifts of
Peace, joy, hope, healing, courage,
And new beginnings
For each and every
One of you.

Peace and Joy is the greatest gift.
Thank you Joan <3
Thank you, Val! Blessings to you and yours.
I like your snowflake holiday poem!
Looking forward to seeing you in the New Year and catching up.
In the meantime, here’s wishing you and Bill a relaxing, rewarding holiday.

I’m looking forward to catching up too, Shirley. Have a wonderful time with your family!

Thank you, Laurie. Best to you and yours.
Thank you for acknowledging both hemispheres in your well wishing. Until recently, I have not paid much attention to their contrasting weather patterns. Fortunately, I have commenters from South Africa and Australia – and you – to remind me of that.
Best wishes to you and Bill this joyous season!
Best wishes to you and yours, Marian.
Happy Holidays and much happiness to you, Joan … love the photo of Rockefeller Ctr … makes me nostalgic for Christmas in NYC.
Mary, the same holiday wishes to you. Thanks for your support this past year.
Joan, thank you for your good wishes. And may you also have a Merry Christmas and many good things happen in the New Year!
Thank you, Saloma. Here is to continuing our friendship in 2015.

Thank you, Kathleen. You’ve been one of my blessings in 2014.
