I am bereft. I cannot possibly write about it now. Maybe later. Just know he was a very small dog with a huge personality and lived his life living with joy until the very end. He taught me many lessons while he was with me.

Oh, Joan, my deepest, most heartfelt sympathies. I know how much he meant to you. I just went through losing my 13-year-old Papillon, and neither the other dog, Bhaunu, nor I can get over it. Please know you are in my heart. Blessings and a steady beam of light to give you strength.
Love,
Gail

Pam, Thanks so much. It’s been a difficult few days.
How are you doing down there. Any trips North planned? We’d love to see you.
Oh dear. This makes my heart hurt. What a sweet little dog. I’m so sorry for your loss, Joan. When one of my cats died a few years ago, I cried for 5 days straight. It was so hard. These furry family members really tug at our hearts and it’s such a privilege to have them love us. I understand your need to grieve. Hugs.
Grace, I so appreciate your words. It is a privilege to have them in our lives. They fill us with love and joy.

I can’t even imagine…sorry to hear about your loss.
It’s even hard for me to wrap my head around it. It was a complete shock.
I am so sorry. Anyone who has owned, raised, and loved a dog knows exactly the words you cannot write. I have said goodbye to a few, I know what you are going through. May memories of Brody and his unconditional love for you carry you at this time. I’m sorry for your loss.
